Preview: This lesson will demonstrate God’s great capacity for love of His people and how He expects us to ask for, receive, and grant forgiveness.


Scripture Reading: Psalm 32:1-11.

Memory Verse: Psalm 51:1.

1. Through what is forgiveness of sin obtained? Matthew 26:28, Ephesians 1:7 & Romans 3:25.
2. Why is the confessing of our sins important? I John 1:9 & Psalm 51:2-3.
3. How complete is God’s forgiveness? Isaiah 1:18 & I John 1:7.
4. How far has God removed our transgressions from us? How far is the east from the west? Psalm 103:12.
5. Will God confront us with our sins after He has forgiven us? Jeremiah 31:34.
6. What should be our reaction to God’s love and forgiveness? Isaiah 44:22.
7. What did David promise to do if the Lord would forgive him? Psalm 51:13. Shouldn’t this be our desire as well?
8. As Christians we are admonished not to sin, but what provision is made for us if we do sin? I John 2:1-2.
9. How should God’s forgiveness cause us to treat our fellowman? Ephesians 4:32 & Colossians 3:13.
10. How important is this? Matthew 6:14-15 & Matthew 18:23-35.
